Deck Staining

Decks, fences, porches, and pool decks are often exposed to high levels of stress from weather conditions, which will shrink and swell the wood. Without proper maintenance, wood decks and exterior fences, porches and patios can develop problems such as cracks, raised grain, and mildew, thus increasing the risk of decay and insect attack.

First, we start with a detailed pressure wash to remove dirt, algae, and mildew from all exterior surfaces. We thoroughly scrape all loose, peeling paint or stain. Next, we sand and prime those scraped areas. Primer is always applied to any bare wood or metal. If we see any old, dried-up caulk, we will replace it with new caulk prior to staining or painting for:
